AMEEN FAHEEM OF PPPP said that he believes that the government should have opened the four constituencies on the demand of Imran Khan. He said that the government is probably afraid and suspicious that opening up of four constituencies will disclose their rigging in the elections.
He said that the motive of Nawaz Sharif meetings with the army chief will be known soon. He said that the government and its institutions should do their best to protect the citizens of Pakistan.
RANA SANA ULLAH OF PML-N said that Ch Nisar offered to open forty constituencies instead of four and also suggested a commission to monitor it. He said that Imran Khan did not respond positively to the suggestion of Ch Nisar. He said that the government is ready to meet the demands of Imran Khan but first he should withdraw his petition in election commission against the rigging. He said that where someone lost the election is complaining for rigging but not where has won it.
He said that PML-N is in contact with PTI through the mediation of Khursheed Shah and he hopes that the matter will be resolved in good manners.
He said that the target of the terrorists killed in Lahore could have been some other important place as well besides the PM of Pakistan.
ALI MOHAMMAD KHAN OF PTI said that two meetings of the government commission on rigging were held but was told that the commission has no authority. He said that it is not too late yet the ball is in the court of the PM if he comes forward with a positive note things can be resolved. He said that his party is the well wisher of Pakistan if PML-N takes step forward so will PTI.
SHAHI SYED OF ANP said that the demands of Imran Khan and TUQ are just but the problem should be resolved in the parliament due to the precarious situation in the country. He said that the fraud in the elections is going on for last sixty five years and same has happened this time as well.
Her said that a country runs on the constitution and all institutions should cooperate in this regard.
