SHAH MAHMOOD QURESHI OF PTI said that what Imran Khan was meant that MQM workers are not as enthusiastic as PTI in the jalsa. He said that he agrees that the selection of the words should be appropriate while addressing the people in jalsa. He said that MQM is not popular in Karachi like in the past and there is an opening for PTI there.
HAIDER ABBAS RIZVI OF MQM said that Imran Khan in his jalsa talked for one minute about Kashmir and rest of his speech he targeted Altaf Hussain. He said that calling by Imran Khan “Alive Corpses” to the participants of MQM jalsa is disrespect to the people of Karachi. He said that he does not see PTI as a threat for MQM in the urban areas of Sindh. He said that MQM is a liberal party whereas PTI is lenient towards right wing.
He said that Khursheed Begum Hall shown in the video of ARY is actually Khursheed Begum Hall. He said that MQM has objection that agencies came to arrest four or five criminals at 90 but they took with them one hundred twenty people. He said that Amir Khan is the member of the Rabita committee and he was present in Khursheed Begum Hall at the time of the raid of the rangers. He said that rangers arrested fifty to sixty people from Khursheed Begum Hall. He said that the available licenses of the weapons from Aziz Abad police station have been provided to the concerned police station. He said that MQM negotiations to join Sindh government have been halted on one formula and can proceed further.
He said that Solat Mirza case was underway for last seventeen years and he claimed that he was innocent. He said that he con not understand that why Solar Mirza changed his statement now.
SHARJEEL MEMON OF PPPP said that the workers of other parties should not be insulted while making a speech in the jalsa. He said that Karachi is not a “No Go” any political party can work there.
He said that he is nor aware that CM did not participate in the meeting of PM in Karachi. He said that although CM Sindh did not participate in the meeting but still he is the incharge of the operation in Karachi. He said that CM Sindh has given free hand to the security agencies to carry on the operation. He said that the security agencies have conducted most of their operations in the area of Layari. He said that CM Sindh congratulated to the rangers after their raid at 90.
He said that no operation against MQM is going on in Karachi neither the efforts are being made to press MQM against the wall. He said that the operation in Karachi is on against the criminals of many organizations. He said that we need to clean Karachi from the criminals once for all.
He said that MQM played wrong they have not presented the licenses of the weapons confiscated from 90 as yet. He said that MQM can get its weapons back by showing the licenses of their weapons.
He said that the arrest of Khalid Mota and the murderer of a journalist is the question mark for MQM.
